It's tempting to infer that St. Piran is the patron saint of Cornwall, but this would seem to be wide of the mark. Cornwall doesn't really have a patron saint; according to Wikipedia, St. Piran is "generally regarded as the patron saint of Cornwall, although Saint Michael and Saint Petroc also have some claim to this title."
